The Downtown Winnipeg BIZ announced the new backdrop for its record-breaking human flag festivities on Canada Day.
The new home for the living flag will be at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.
Participants are asked to come down to the Scotiabank stage at The Forks at 9 a.m on July 1 to get in on the action.
Last year, about 4,000 people dressed in red and white visited the Manitoba Legislative grounds to create a human Canadian flag.
Winnipeg set the record for the largest human flag in Canada and this year will defend its title against up-and-coming competitors in Victoria, Brandon and Calgary.
