MAP: Winnipeg's public spaces

Review Winnipeg's public-space successes and failures -- and share your own

Hey there, time traveller!
This article was published 7/9/2013 (1443 days ago), so information in it may no longer be current.

September is Manitoba’s first Landscape Architecture Month — long overdue, since the province is home to the country’s first and still excellent landscape architecture programs. In Mary Agnes Welch's story Grand Designs, some of Winnipeg’s best landscape experts took stock of Winnipeg’s public spaces, picking some hidden gems and pointing out (many) missed opportunities. In the map below, we take a look at a few more.

Did we miss a place you love (or one you love to hate?) Fill out the form below the map to tell us about other public spaces in Winnipeg.  We'll review submissions over the next few days and add them to the map.
