No new COVID-19 cases have been announced in Manitoba today, and there are no longer any COVID-19 patients in hospital in the province.
A total of 292 positive and probable cases have been confirmed in the province, including the two most recent cases that were announced Friday. Seventeen of the cases are considered active, and public health officials are reporting that 268 Manitobans have recovered from the virus, according to a provincial government news release issued Saturday afternoon.
On Friday, 598 additional lab tests were conducted, bringing the total number of COVID-19 tests performed to 37,870 since early February.
Seven people have died of COVID-19 in Manitoba to date.
