Three men have been arrested following a robbery in front of a convenience store in the 500 block of Ellice Avenue Tuesday night.
The victim's wife called for help while her husband was being assaulted, but the attackers had run off by the time police arrived. A police dog was able to track three suspects to a location on the same block of Sargent Avenue.
Charles Kaniki, 18, of Winnipeg, is charged with robbery and five counts of failure to comply with bail conditions and is in custody.
The other two suspects face robbery charges and one was charged with possessing a weapon. Both were released on a promise to appear in court.
