The Manwin Hotel on Main Street on Monday morning.

Police are investigating after a person was found bloodied in the lobby at Winnipeg's Manwin Hotel overnight.

Ambulance took the 50-year-old man to the Health Sciences Centre, where he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.

Police got the call around 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

Manwin Hotel is on Main Street between Logan Avenue and Henry Avenue.

Police tape marked off the area early Monday morning.

Several stabbings have been reported near the Manwin Hotel in the past few years. Jesse Nedohin allegedly stabbed a man there in January, and, in 2013, a 29-year-old woman was stabbed outside the hotel.
