Rally to oppose military action

A rally Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights in Winnipeg will oppose Canada's potential involvement in a military role in Syria.

On a Facebook page called No War With Syria Rally Winnipeg, a local group of citizens stated the plan of action is "to oppose illegal and unconstitutional war with Syria."

It suggested activists are launching similar rallies on Saturday in other locations around the world.
