Blue Bomber fans are going to pack the place on Saturday for the Banjo Bowl rematch against the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

The football club announced this morning that only 150 single tickets remain for the game. The Bombers are encouraging fans to wear royal blue.

The enthusiastic fan response is due to an unusually strong season for the club, which is looking for its sixth straight victory in a season for the first time since 2001. Those victories include a nail-biting, last-second win against the Riders in Regina last Sunday, the first time in 11 years the Bombers have won the traditional Labour Day Classic matchup against Saskatchewan.

Saturday's annual match-up is nicknamed The Banjo Bowl because Bomber players in the past trash-talked their Saskatchewan rivals as banjo-plucking yokels.
