An 81-year-old Selkirk man died Thursday evening in a two-vehicle collision in the RM of St. Andrews.
The man didn't stop at the intersection of Highway 67 and McPhillips Road (Provincial Road 230), the RCMP said.
RCMP responded to the scene at about 5:50 p.m.
The man was driving westbound when his vehicle struck a northbound automobile, being driven by a 49-year-old man from East Selkirk.
The 81-year-old man died at the scene. His passenger, a 50-year-old woman, and the driver of the other vehicle were both taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police said both drivers and the passenger were wearing their seatbelts. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the collision.
A forensic collision reconstructionist is assisting with the investigation.
