Cancer Crossing provides financial assistance to cancer patients based on their requests, such as travel expenses, child-minding, compression garments, and other necessities. Everyone involved is a volunteer. All proceeds from the book Cancer Crossing — a compilation of short stories from people affected by cancer — go toward cancer patients. Tetra Society of North America is recruiting volunteers to work with clients to design and build custom-made assistive devices. Clients range in age, medical conditions and needs, and the devices are used in the workplace, at home, and for sport and leisure.
