Nearly New Shop, 961 Portage Ave., needs volunteers once a week for a three-hour shift. All proceeds are donated to the Children's Hospital Foundation. Information: 204-772-3629.

Winnipeg Regional Health Authority needs volunteers to assist at the seasonal flu clinic Oct. 22-25. Volunteers will greet the public, lead clients through the clinic's process, assist with the completion of consent forms and observe clients after their immunization. Imagine seeks to stop the negative stigma regarding mental health and suicide prevention. Volunteers are needed for the 2013 Imagine Run in Niverville Sept. 28. Help is needed for three to five hours as course marshals, food runners, groundskeepers and tent/barbecue assistants. Proceeds go to Eden Health Care Services.
