Bombers fall in Montreal, season comes to an end

MONTREAL — Say au revoir to the 2025 edition of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
The Blue and Gold fell 42-33 to the Montreal Alouettes on Saturday in the East Division semifinal at Percival Molson Stadium.
The Als advance to take on the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the East final next Saturday.
For the first time since 2018, the Bombers will not play in the Grey Cup.
Four arrested after drugs, guns seized in St. Boniface

Winnipeg police have arrested four people after finding cocaine, Percocet pills, guns and ammunition while executing search warrants in October.
Police searched apartment complexes on 100 block of Aubert Street and the 400 block of Youville Street Oct. 15 after investigating a drug trafficking network, a Saturday media release says.
Around $54,000 worth of cocaine was seized, along with $2,300 worth of pills, five guns, ammunition and $45,000 in currency.
Two men ages 33 and 50 and two women ages 21 and 51 are facing various drug trafficking and firearm related charges. They were released on an undertaking.
