Archwood C.C. wreath-making workshop Nov. 15
Organizers at Archwood Community Centre (565 Guilbault St.) are preparing to hold a wreath-making workshop in time for the holidays. According to archwoodcc.com, the workshop will be held on Saturday, Nov. 15 between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m.

École Salisbury Morse Place School fundraiser Nov. 30
The École Salisbury Morse Place School alumni committee will hold a trivia and treats event on Sunday, Nov. 30 to raise funds the school’s new playground project.
The adults-only event will be held in the middle years gym at the school, located at 795 Prince Rupert Ave.
Tickets are $20, and can be purchased by stopping in at the school office, anytime between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, or by contacting Niki Gagnon of the alumni committee directly at ngagnon09@hotmail.com Support tickets are also available for $10.
AFM movie night coming Nov. 21
The Alliance Française du Manitoba will hold a movie and crepe night on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m.
According a statement, the south Winnipeg-based organization, located at 934 Corydon Ave., will show the French-language film Toni en famille (with English subtitles), when homemade crepes will also be served.
