Hi, I’m Layke.

I’m a princess but not a diva. I love to play but I also love to relax in a warm home and be with my people.

I am just about fully house0trained if you watch for me standing by the door. I am fully crate-trained and sleep through the night. I am sometimes bouncy with myhuman siblings and I am very unsure of the other dog and cats in the house because I want all of the attention, toys, and food to go to me. So I think it would be best if I am the only pet in my new home. This would make me very happy and help me feel safe. A fenced yard would also be ideal.

I don’t have all my shots so I haven’t been on a leash much, and I will need some practise, just like I am working on slowing down when eating and minding my manners.

Manitoba Mutts is in desperate need of foster homes for adult dogs, such as the one in the photo, to get them out of the cold and the elements.

Fostering is free, we supply veterinary care, food, crates, treats, toys, etc., and all we ask is for you to supply a warm home, basic training and lots of love.
