Playful Hughie would like a forever home

Hi, I’m Hughie, I am an active energetic boy who loves to play hard and then relax beside you on the couch for cuddles.

I am fully house-trained, I will go to the door once I know where it is, or I go out when my foster sister goes out.

I am not crate-trained and really don’t like it, even with the door open. I like to nap on the floor or on the couch. I sleep in my dog bed in my foster’s bedroom and I sleep through the night.

I love people but need to be reminded not to jump or bite as I am not aware of my own strength. I have only met a couple of children but I love them, however, once again, need to learn my boundaries as they get as excited as I do. For now, it would be best if kids are over five while my manners improve.

I play well with my older foster dog-sister outside – we love to chase each other around the yard. I’d love a friend to play with. I am respectful of the cat in the house even when she gets too close to me.

I am a little resource-aggressive but we are working on that, and my foster mom says I have improved so much. She is very proud of me.

I am an active loving pup who would love to find my forever home. Will you come to meet me?
