LRSD school trustee election results

In addition to voting for mayor and city council, community members also elected school trustees last Wednesday. Here is a list of school trustee winners in wards covered by The Lance.

Louis Riel School Division Ward 1 (two elected)
• Louise Johnston — 6,484 votes (44.97 per cent);
• Cindy Turner — 4,979 votes (34.53 per cent).

Louis Riel School Division Ward 2 (two elected)
• Colleen Mayer — 6,117 votes (45.98 per cent);
• Chris Sigurdson — 4,369 votes (32.84 per cent).

Louis Riel School Division Ward 3 (three elected)
• Sandy Nemeth — 7,394 votes (21.47 per cent);
• Josie Landry — 6,312 votes (18.32 per cent);
• Dave Richardson — 6,262 votes (18.18 per cent).

Louis Riel School Division Ward 4 (two elected)
• Tom Parker — 5,334 votes (26.11 per cent);
• Hugh Coburn — 4,632 votes (22.67 per cent).
