A literary day out

A group of Winnipeg writers enjoyed a day out at The Forks on July 18. The writers, who have all had books published, held a community event titled Summer Reading Blast — Book-signing with award-winning Manitoba writers, when visitors met the authors and had their books signed. The group is dubbed The Anita Factor after author Anita Daher. “We met so many interesting people who stopped by to chat with us, and our venue at The Forks was beautiful,” said Normand Park resident and group member Suzanne Leclerc.
