On Feb. 17, parents joined their children at Isaac Brock School to celebrate the opening of the school’s lodge room, which will be used for cultural teachings and ceremonies. Kindergarten students had the opportunity to participate in an Indigenous language program. Next year, the Cree and Ojibwa language programs will be offered for kindergarten as well as Grade 1 students.
