Justice issues will soon be hitting the silver screen at the University of Winnipeg.
The 11th Global Justice Film Festival is taking place at the U of W (515 Portage Ave.) from Nov. 1 to 2.
Friday’s program will be in the university’s Manitoba Hall on the fourth floor. Symphony of the Soil, the only film scheduled for the Friday, will be screened that night from 7 to 9 p.m.
The film, directed by Deborah Koons Garcia, explores the topic of soil.
Advance tickets are $10. Tickets at the door are $12. Students and low-income residents pay $5.
Saturday’s program, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., will be on the first floor of Lockhart Hall and the fourth floor of Manitoba Hall. Day passes are $15 in advance, and $20 at the door. Students and low-income residents pay $10.
