Fit Communications, a Winnipeg-based marketing company which works with different companies to market the importance of health and physical activities, is looking to help local women overcome obstacles they face in becoming physically active.
The company has partnered with Snap Fitness to launch a “Runner Roundup” campaign, collecting gently used athletic footwear for both women and girls.
The following Snap Fitness locations around the city will be donation drop off locations throughout the month of March including: Osborne Village (206 Osborne St.), St. Boniface (249 St. Mary’s Rd.) as well as Selkirk (379 Main Street, Selkirk).
All the donations will be given to local women’s shelters and organizations at the end of the month, along with a one-month gym membership at Snap Fitness to couple with each pair of donated shoes.
