School trustee election results

In addition to voting for mayor and city council, Winnipeggers voted for its school boards last Wednesday. Here is a list of school trustee winners in wards covered by The Times:

Seven Oaks Ward 2 (four elected)
• Greg McFarlane — 4,676 votes (16.07 per cent);
• Diane Cameron — 4,415 votes (15.18 per cent);
• Maria Santos — 4,385 votes (15.07 per cent);
• Derek Dabee — 3,812 votes (13.10 per cent).

Seven Oaks Ward 3 (four elected)
• Richard Sawka — 4,776 votes (21.23 per cent);
• Teresa Jaworski — 4,524, or (20.11 per cent);
• Edward Ploszay — 4,398 votes (19.55 per cent);
• Claudia Sarbit — 4,218 votes, or (18.75 per cent).

Winnipeg School Division Ward 8 (one elected)
• Mike Babinsky — 3,520 votes (57.35 per cent).

Winnipeg School Division Ward 9 (one elected)
• Dean Koshelanyk — 4,510 votes (67.97 per cent).
