Hey there, time traveller!

Throughout the pandemic many businesses have been struggling to get by.

While I am grateful for the Manitoba Bridge Grant program, I do believe it needed to have a broader scope and be more inclusive to support all businesses. This inclusivity is something I am continuing to push for with the provincial government. I currently have an ongoing dialogue with the minister of crown services specifically for taxi drivers who have been left out.

With that said, another great way to support small businesses is by promoting them and sharing them with one another. Please show your love by supporting our local businesses here in Tyndall Park.

Supplied photo Small businesses in Tyndall Park, such as The Icing Castle, need our support to get through the COVID-19 pandemic.

Need some car maintenance or detailing? Visit 4D Auto Detailing or Axle Auto Parts.

How about a haircut or new hair service? Visit Angelina’s Hair City, Pam Beauty Hair and Richmond Skin and Laser Centre.

Tyndall Pak also has some incredible restaurants and bakeries. It has been a personal challenge of mine to try the food from all of these throughout the pandemic.

Check out Aristocrat, Bakerite, Jas Indian Cuisine, Jeepney, Kuya’s food, Kimchi Sushi, Lucita’s Restaurant, Marcel’s Bakery, My Indigo Indian Street Food, Tandoor House, The Icing Castle and Samosa Crown Sweets.

On top of all the prepared food, we can’t forget the local grocery stores that also need our support. Be sure to check out A2Z Supermart, Fil-mart Corp, Gill’s Supermarket, Hoffman’s Fine Foods and Sardar Supermarket.

What about gifts? Maybe it’s a friend’s birthday or maybe you are thinking of treating yourself? Check out the unique and beautiful jewelry online at Topo Clay Boutique.

As you can tell, Tyndall Park has so much to offer and so many ways we can support our local community. We even have Waterplant 204 for your water and hydration needs for these hot summer days.

Endeavour Electric is great for any electrical issues or any new renovations you’re doing that need permitting or electrical updates.

Thank you to all of our small businesses for making our community feel so well connected.
If I have missed your local business, please let me know and I will add your business to our working list on social media.

If your business has not been eligible for funding or supports throughout the pandemic but desperately needs it, please reach out to me and I will do what I can to get you the support you need.
