The St. Norbert Arts Centre hosted GerryFest 2022: Letters of Love to the Community from Aug. 12 to 14. The festival, now in its third year, honours the life and work of the late local musician, artist, playwright and activist Gerry Atwell.

GerryFest is a fundraiser event for the Gerry Atwell Memorial Mentorship Fund, inspired by Gerry’s lifelong commitment to mentoring emerging artists of diverse backgrounds, the Atwell family and the St. Norbert Arts Centre. All funds raised at the yearly event go to the mentorship program, which provides support for professional artists to work with talented emerging artists from underrepresented communities.
