March 21st is World Down Syndrome Day, and the Manitoba Down Syndrome Society wants YOU to celebrate with us! \ud83e\udde6\ud83d\udc9b\ud83d\udc99<\/p>\n
World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) is a global awareness day that was created to celebrate the lives of people with Down syndrome & to make sure they have the same freedoms & opportunities as everybody else. March 21 is a day to recognize, celebrate, and champion the incredible people with Down syndrome in our community.<\/p>\n
Here’s how you can join the fun:
\n\ud83e\udde6 Rock Your Socks!\u00a0
\n– Wear your wildest, most mismatched socks on March 21 to show your support and spark conversations about inclusion and acceptance.
\n– Hold a ‘Lots Of Socks’ day: Ask your school or workplace to wear bold socks & make a donation the Manitoba Down Syndrome Society.
\n– Share a ‘Lots Of Socks’ selfie: Post a photo of your socks on social media with the hashtag #RockYourSocks to join the conversation.<\/p>\n
