The IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer\u2019s is the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba\u2019s largest annual fundraiser, supporting local programs and services that improve the quality of life for people living with dementia and their families. It\u2019s more than just a walk \u2014 it\u2019s a powerful day for our community to come together to connect, celebrate and show that no one facing dementia walks alone.<\/p>\n
Every day, nine Manitobans are newly diagnosed with dementia. Today, more than 20,300 people in Manitoba are living with the disease \u2014 a number expected to rise to 39,100 by 2050. As these numbers grow, so does the urgent need for accessible information, person-centred support, and meaningful community connection for families navigating dementia.<\/p>\n
