On May 26, the former Willis Park in West St. Paul was officially rededicated as Centennial Park in celebration of the rural municipality’s 100th anniversary.<\/p>\n

A crowd of 375 people turned up for the park rededication ceremony, which included the unveiling of a new granite sign.<\/p>\n

A time capsule was buried at the site, with the help of former West St. Paul reeve Art Christensen and young West St. Paul residents.<\/p>\n

The ceremony also featuring tree planting, children’s soccer games and a pulled pork dinner.<\/p>\n
