Basseo added that style plays well with Panicland’s old-school rock and roll roots.<\/p>\n
Today’s airwaves are filled with shyer love songs that beat around the bush. Panicland has opted for something different with a song that gets right to the point, Basseo explained.<\/p>\n
“We wanted to give people confidence, to take that chance and go right up to somebody and make things happen.”<\/p>\n
Panicland’s stage presence is evolving along with its sound, Basseo said.<\/p>\n
As the band plays larger venues, it’s working hard to give every fan a personal experience.<\/p>\n
“With larger venues we try and make it the biggest spectacle we can,” Basseo said.<\/p>\n
“For everyone who goes, it will come across as an event they can remember. We are always thinking on how to push the live show and give them something unexpected.”<\/p>\n
That experience begins as soon as fans enter the venue, Basseo said. Concert-goers can expect interactive experiences and photo opportunities in the lobby. It continues throughout the show as band members jump off trampolines, a recent addition that Basseo said fans have liked.<\/p>\n
“We want to challenge them, and give them something unexpected.”<\/p>\n
Panicland’s immediate plans are to promote Bad Word while continuing their current roll.<\/p>\n
“We’re looking at what comes next. We don’t want to waste this momentum,” Basseo said.<\/p>\n
Basseo added fans can expect some new singles this fall.<\/p>\n
