Other NDP nominations in west Winnipeg to date include, Joe McKellep in Assiniboia and Kurt Morton in Kirkfield Park.<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\" style=\"width: 1px;height: 1px;overflow: hidden\">Conference to discuss faith, race&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\" style=\"width: 1px;height: 1px;overflow: hidden\">and queerness<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\" style=\"width: 1px;height: 1px;overflow: hidden\">The first-ever Queer and Faithful conference is scheduled to take place at R.A. Steen Community Centre on May 25 and 26.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\" style=\"width: 1px;height: 1px;overflow: hidden\">The event, which is part of Winnipeg Pride Week, will highlight the voices of 2SLGBTQ+ people of colour and their experiences with faith and spirituality.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\" style=\"width: 1px;height: 1px;overflow: hidden\">There are two panel and roundtable discussions scheduled where attendees will be able to share their own experiences on topics like belonging, family, resilience, hope, pain, hiding, privilege and intersectionality.<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\" style=\"width: 1px;height: 1px;overflow: hidden\">Saturday speakers include Charlotte Nolin, Muhammad Ahsan, Tia Oberoi, L.S., moderated by Mary Basta and Jennifer Stadtmiller.
