Bill Slaughter, a Winnipeg RCAF pilot who flew a similar jet as a flight officer in 1963-64. From 1967 to 1990, the aircraft wore pre-1967 RCAF silver-finish colours. In 1990, it was repainted in the Golden Centennaires aerobatics team colours.
