For much of that time the pandemic was in full force, so being at home was the thing to do. I often thought about how lucky we were to have a home and one that, although extremely small, offers us all of the comforts we need. We downsized considerably from our four-bedroom rental in Lord Roberts to move into a one-bedroom apartment on the top floor of a duplex, selling a few things but giving away much more. In a way, it was the best place to be during such a stressful time. It was comfortable and safe. We came to know a few of our neighbours and that&#8217;s been a real
