Two hunters were found dead in a flooded river west of Fargo, the Forum of Fargo-Moorhead reported.

The men, aged 69 and 59, did not return from a beaver-hunting excursion Thursday, the Forum reported.

Their bodies were found this morning near their capsized boat in the Maple River, south of Interstate 94 between Fargo and Valley City, N.D.

The deaths are the second and third related to flooding this week in the Red River Valley.

On Wednesday, a Fargo-Moorhead area man died while sandbagging on the Minnesota side of the Red River, the Forum reported.
