Two actors and roommates find themselves killing time at the same audition. Bitchiness ensues. One is a Type A personality, the other a louche party-girl who gets all the good parts with little effort.
There are some surreal parts, where things happen over and over again in a Waiting for Godot fashion, but there’s not enough clarity in the end about why the characters are friends, what they are doing there or why one of them commits suicide.
It’s very short, at barely at 30 minutes, and there’s a nicely paced performance by writer Nancy Kenny. It’s kind of fun to watch, but it goes nowhere.
