One of the few out-of-town sketch offers at the fringe serves up a 55-minute batch of entertaining – if slightly uneven – sketch comedy.
All of the sketches are solid, with a highlight being the eponymous My Mistake mini-sketches that pepper the show. The five-person Edmonton-based cast is evenly matched in skill and stage presence. Still, there’s difficultly discerning the overall tone of the group and show.
Sharper buttons and punchlines at the end of the sketches would aid the flow, and there isn’t quite enough solid material to sustain the running time. But the troupe is clearly well-rehearsed, polished and careful with its writing and presentation, making My Mistake a fine way to spend an hour of your time.

From the Fringe program:
Mistakes happen. A strong person knows how to own them. A tough person knows how to laugh them off. A clever person knows how to make sure no one noticed. My Mistake is a sketch comedy journey through accidents, errors and oopsy daisies of all kinds. The Debutantes showcase their best sketches featuring funny faux pas and snappy SNAFUs in this hilarious Fringe revue.
