I have been involved in our family business for many years. Living in Brandon has enabled us to raise a family and give them a wide variety of education and experience. Coaching youth for over 30 years in a variety of sports has allowed me to give back to the community and help athletes develop. I have been a leader in several community and national organizations.

About You
What is the biggest issue facing your community, and how would you address it?
Economic development and the opportunity for growth has been something I have worked on my entire career. Business creates jobs and both businesses and workers pay taxes to help provide the services that Manitobans depend on and add to the quality of life in Manitoba.
Why did you decide to run for office?
I saw what was happening to Manitoba and its economy and was not happy with its path.
Being an MLA allows many opportunities to help people and has been very rewarding.
I have served on Treasury Board and the Economic Growth Committee of Cabinet as well as the Chair and Vice-Chair of the Public Accounts Committee. I was the Chair of the All-Party Task Force on Organ and Tissue Donation in Manitoba.
Manitoba is marking its 150th anniversary next year. Suggest one way we can make it a memorable occasion.
The Manitoba 150 Committee has been working to provide a year-long experience for Manitobans that will encompass all parts of Manitoba.
Tell us something about yourself that voters might find surprising.
I have a Class 1 license and have operated a semi-trailer throughout the Prairie Provinces and Mid-Western States.
