Ah, election night — the time when the entire Twitterverse erupts into a den of political commentary and criticsm that will overwhelm your feed whether you like it or not.

To make things a bit easier, we've compiled a list of all the Free Press reporters who will be spread out across the city tonight covering both the party leaders' events as well as individual ridings that have been making headlines during the past month of campaigning.

Here's a list of the reporters on deck tonight, where they'll be, and their Twitter handles:

Provincial party leader coverage:

  • Kristin Annable (@kristinannable) will be at the Selinger HP at the RBC Convention Centre.
  • Larry Kusch (@lrkusch) will be at the Pallister HQ at Canad Inns Polo Park.
  • Nick Martin (@NickMartin14) will be at the Bokhari HQ.

Individual riding coverage:

Manning the centre of the Free Press's election coverage at the Winnipeg Free Press News Café tonight will be perspectives and politics editor Shannon Sampert (@PaulySigh) and columnist Dan Lett (@danlett). Follow Mia Rabson (@mrabson) Bartley Kives (@bkives) for roving updates.

As always, you can follow breaking news updates on @winnipegnews, and can search all of Twitter for election information (or contribute to the conversation yourself) using the official hashtags #mbelxn or #mbpoli.
