The top University of Manitoba men’s golf team kept rolling this week with a big tournament win in North Dakota.

The Bisons swung to victory at the 2013 Erc Kaiser Invitational, which wrapped up on Tuesday in Oxbow, N.D. The team’s three-round score of 894 bested the host North Dakota State team by six strokes.

Individually, Bisons golfer Josh Wytinck — who won three consecutive individual titles coming into this tournament — finished second with an even-par score of 216. Bisons teammate Charlie Boyechko finished third at 217.

The rest of the Bisons' top team included Scott Mazur, who finished ninth, Noel Ngo in 31st place and Burke Wiebe at 32nd. The Bisons also fielded a second team in this tournament, which finished fifth with a 924 score.

With the win, the Bisons men’s golf team has now won three of their first four tournaments this season.

Their next challenge will be the St. Cloud State University Husky Classic in Minnesota, which starts Sept. 22.
