Calgary outlasts San Jose for 12-10 victory in season opener for both teams

SAN JOSE - Tracey Kelusky led the Roughnecks with three goals as Calgary defeated the San Jose Stealth 12-10 on Friday in NLL action.

Josh Sanderson, Kaleb Toth and Dane Dobbie each scored twice for Calgary, while Scott Ranger, Curt Malawsky and Jeff Moleski added singles for the Roughnecks (1-0).

Sanderson and Ranger each had five assists, while Kelusky recorded four, and Pat Campbell earned the win in goal for the Roughnecks.

Frank Resetarits led San Jose with three goals, while Tom Johnson, Jeff Zywicki and Rhys Duch each scored two. Colin Doyle scored one goal and led the Stealth (0-1) with five assists.
