Laurent Brossoit will start in the Winnipeg Jets net tonight in Ottawa.

Game time is 6 p.m. at Canadian Tire Centre.

The Jets (25-14-3), second in the North Division, are coming off an ugly 4-2 defeat to the Senators (14-25-4) on Monday night in the nation's capital.

It's the Winnipeg backup goalie's first start since he lost in Calgary on March 27. Brossoit is 5-3-0 in limited action, with a 2.64 goals-against average and .914 save percentage.

Jets head coach Paul Maurice indicated this morning he will go with the same lineup of skaters tonight.

Winnipeg heads to Toronto to meet the Maple Leafs on Thursday night.
