Defenceman Paul Postma has signed a new two-year contract with the Winnipeg Jets.
Postma has battled injuries and a blood-clot issue in his leg over the last two years, but is a capable puck-moving D-man who gives the organization depth. He appeared in 42 games last year, picking up two goals, four assists.
Originally selected by the Atlanta Thrashers in the seventh round of the 2007 NHL Draft, Postma has played 100 NHL games over five seasons, recording seven goals and adding 11 assists.
