After opening the season just 6-15-4 against the Western Conference, the Jets are now 8-2 against their rivals... Mark Scheifele picked up an assist on Devin Setoguchi's first-period goal, giving him 32 points (11G, 21A) this season... Andrew Ladd picked up two assists in the game, giving him six points (2G, 4A) in his last six games.

The Canucks were the last NHL team to visit MTS Centre since the Jets' rebirth. Winnipeg has one city they have yet to visit, Los Angeles, and they will be there on March 29.

The Jets practise at the MTS Centre today before departing for Montreal and the start of a four-game, pre-Olympic road trip that will also include stops in Raleigh, Washington and St. Louis. Sunday afternoon's game at the Bell Centre goes at noon (CBC, RDS/TSN 1290).
