Tix for Jets' draft party on sale soon

Tickets will be available on Monday for the third annual Winnipeg Jets draft party.

This year's NHL entry draft is June 30 in Newark, N.J., and the Jets have chosen the new Shark Club in cityplace as the venue for their local event.

Jets skaters Mark Stuart and James Wright will be in attendance at the Shark Club, available for autographs and photos. Fans attending will also be eligible for prizes.

Tickets will be available only to those 18 and over and will go on sale Monday at noon for $30 through the team's website, jets.nhl.com.

The team said in an announcement Friday that the doors to the Shark Club will open at 1 p.m. on draft day. MTS Centre and Jets public address announcer Jay Richardson will host the party, with TSN's broadcast of the draft beginning at 2 p.m. on all 57 monitors in the new restaurant/bar.
