No. 45 Mark Scheifele, C -- The Jets' first-round draft pick, seventh overall, in their rebirth has huge upside. Likely heading back to Barrie and the OHL for further tutelage by Dale Hawerchuk. His well-rounded game and big shot means he could be wearing Canada's colours at this year's World Junior Hockey Championship.
No. 57 Jason Gregoire, LW -- Former Winnipeg South Blues and North Dakota star who was a third-round pick of the Islanders but did not sign in New York. Responsible defensively with a good scoring touch.
No. 48 Carl Klingberg, LW -- Lanky Swede describes his game as a 'North-American power forward.' We've seen flashes of his outgoing personality off the ice, now management want to see the skill set on it.
No. 60 Zach Yuen, D -- Fourth-round draft pick from this spring. Lots of still-developing layers to his game and should see more ice time this year with Tri-City Americans.
No. 32 Edward Pasquale, G -- Drafted by the Thrashers in 2009, Pasquale and Chris Carrozzi are actually ranked by many scouts behind Fredrik Pettersson-Wentzel, the Swedish netminder playing in Farjestad some believe to be the top puck-stopping prospect in the organization. Pasquale played 24 games for the Chicago Wolves last year with respectable numbers.
