Two more prominent WHL players made the leap to the MJHL Tuesday.
Connor McClennon of the Winnipeg Ice took advantage of the WHL’s temporary transfer rule and will suit up for the Winnipeg Blues. A day earlier, the Blues added Ice defenceman Michael Ladyman.
McClennon, an 18-year-old right-winger from Wainwright, Alta., was a sixth-round pick of the Philadelphia Flyers at the NHL draft earlier this month.
Meanwhile, Winnipegger Eric Alarie, a 17-year-old left-winger with the Moose Jaw Warriors, has joined the OCN Blizzard.
Earlier, the Blizzard added Prince Albert Raiders forwards Justin Nachbaur and Evan Herman.
