Maddy Mitchell has won another medal for Manitoba.

The 19-year old canoe racer won a bronze Tuesday in the C-1 1000 metre race, with a time of 4:45.627.

Quebec's Sophia Jensen crossed the finish line at 4:37.868 to win gold and Nova Scotia's Marlee MacIntosh edged out Mitchell for silver with a time of 4:45.281.

Mitchell won a silver medal with Nicole Boyle on Monday in the women's C-2 1000 metre final.
