Two drivers involved in a head-on crash near Ile des Chenes this morning sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries.
A 28-year-old woman from Ile des Chenes and a 64-year-old woman from Landmark collided around 6:25 a.m. on Provincial Road 210, about three kilometres east of Highway 59.
One driver was airlifted by STARS to hospital, while the other was transported by ground ambulance, a Manitoba RCMP spokesperson said.
Investigators believe poor weather may have caused both drivers to drift outside of their respective lanes.
Alcohol is not considered a factor.
