Update: Steinbach RCMP said on Saturday, Feb. 9 that Joshua Ross is fine after the missing man made contact with his family.
Steinbach RCMP said on Friday afternoon that the detachment is currently undertaking a search in the RM of Reynolds area for a Richer resident.
Joshua Bert Ross, 37, was last seen at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6.
He is reported to have travelled into bush area around Spruce Siding, off of the Trans-Canada Highway, to look for firewood.
Anyone who may have spoken to Ross during this time period or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact Steinbach RCMP or have Ross contact his mother.
He is believed to be travelling in a grey, 1994 Chevy Silverado pick-up truck.
