English conversation groups at St. Vital Library
St. Vital Library will hold a series of sessions for individuals looking to improve their English speaking and listening skills.
The library, located at 6 Fermor Ave., will hold English conversation workshops on consecutive Saturdays from March 30 to May 11 between 10:30 a.m. and noon.
Organizers say the groups are for adults "who can understand basic English spoken at an almost natural rate and who can speak in short sentences."
A minimum proficiency level of CLB 4 (Canadian Language Benchmark) is suggested for participants, and groups will be limited to 10 individuals so that everyone can speak.
Weekly attendance is expected and registration is required. To register, call 204-986-5628.
