English conversation groups at St. Vital Library

St. Vital Library will hold a series of sessions for individuals looking to improve their English speaking and listening skills.

The library, located at 6 Fermor Ave., will hold English conversation workshops on consecutive Saturdays from March 30 to May 11 between 10:30 a.m. and noon.

Organizers say the groups are for adults “who can understand basic English spoken at an almost natural rate and who can speak in short sentences.”

A minimum proficiency level of CLB 4 (Canadian Language Benchmark) is suggested for participants, and groups will be limited to 10 individuals so that everyone can speak.
