Another Royalwood show home has been chosen as a grand prize offering in a major local lottery. This time, the distinction belongs to StreetSide’s designer display bungalow at 87 Tascona Rd. in the Dream Lottery 4 Kids.

The home is combined with another in Scottsdale, Arizona, plus a 2014 Hyundai Tucson AWD GLS, $40,000 in furniture, and $75,000 cash. The package, valued at $1,230,000, is one of three grand prize selections.

Lottery 4 Kids is an equal partnership between the Children’s Hospital Foundation and St. Boniface Hospital Foundation to raise funds in support of child health care initiatives, health research and patient care.

“We were just thrilled to hear the news”, said Myles Viklund of Rancho Realty Services (Manitoba) Ltd. “As a Qualico company, it is an important aspect of StreetSide’s business to support the communities where we build.”

Charles LaFlèche, president of the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation, echoed this sentiment.

“We know our supporters will be drawn to this beautiful family home.”

The Royalwood show home represents StreetSide’s first offering of non-condo detached bungalow and two-storey homes. It is open for viewing Saturdays and Sundays from  noon to 5 p.m.

Homes by StreetSide is a limited collection of 22 single-family homes. Located at John Bruce Road and Tascona, the homes range in size from 1,400-2,000 square feet, and include nine-foot ceilings, substantial lots, front landscaping and more.

On Sept. 11, from 4 to 7 p.m., StreetSide is hosting a special event at 87 Tascona Rd. for a behind-the-scenes look at its construction and exclusive features.

The home will be highlighted in the annual Fall Parade of Homes that runs Sept. 14 to Oct. 6.
Ticket packages for the 2013 Dream Lottery 4 Kids are as follows: two for $100, six for $250, 15 for $500. The winner could take possession as early as Dec. 31, 2013.
