Health expert coming to Linden Woods

Women’s health expert Lorna Vanderhaeghe will be in Linden Woods to tell women what they need to know about hormones.
Vanderhaeghe will be at the Caboto Centre, located at 1055 Wilkes Ave., on Tues., Oct. 29 from 7 to 9 p.m., according to a release. During the session, she will speak about the effects of hormones and attendees will learn how to stop hot flashes, which nutrients can help sleep, the secret to beautiful skin, how to stop hair loss, and other topics.
Vanderhaeghe has written 11 books on various women’s health topics, such as immunity, heart health, weight loss, and hormones.
As well as being featured on television, Vanderhaeghe has written articles for major publications such as The Globe and Mail, Canadian Living, and Chatelaine.
In 2009, Vanderhaeghe won the Canadian Health Food Association’s Fall of Fame award and in 2011, 2012, and 2013 she was listed as one of Canada’s top 100 female entrepreneurs.
The lecture is free and attendees are encouraged to arrive early to ensure they get the best seats possible.
