The folks at Assiniboine Park Zoo are dealing with a giant infestation.
Nineteen larger than life, animatronic bugs have begun to settle in at the zoo. The giant creatures are part of the zoo’s new exhibit, Xtreme Bugs! Following the success of the Dinosaurs Alive! exhibit, the organizers have brought in the bugs — which move and make noise — and set them up along a forested path in the zoo. The exhibit is tentatively scheduled to open for the May long weekend and admission is included with the cost of visiting the zoo.
