On Dec. 3, the East Winnipeg U13 A2 Stars hockey team took home the championship banner at the Regina Westridge Female Hockey Challenge tournament in Regina, Sask.
The girls went undefeated through the tournament before taking on the top team from Regina in the final, where the Stars won in a shootout.
